Image Extensions
iex is a userscript extension for 4chan's image boards, which adds support for better inline image previewing.
Its primary focus is to allow zooming in on images without having to open them in a new tab. This makes high resolution images, low resolution images, and comic pages faster and easier to browse.

Using iex, you can hover over a thumbnail and then move the mouse onto the image without it moving or disappearing.
You can zoom in and out using the mouse wheel, move the mouse to change the view position, and click to close the preview.
For users who don't have a mouse wheel, hovering over the zoom% at the top right of the image will display + and − buttons.
Images are displayed on a dimmed background, making image boundaries and transparent sections more obvious.
Loading images can be displayed on top of a partially transparent thumbnail.
By default, the zoom ratio will snap to the horizontal and vertical aspect ratio.
The mouse cursor can also be set to disappear after inactivity if desired.
